In "Clearance" I'm developing my concept about layers building a musical form, leaving understatements and disjointed snippets that are the unspoken backbone of the entire narrative form.
I decided to combine together my recent research on special sound timbres, like harmonic series and Just Intonation ( Cello and Trombone ).

This experience has definitely whetted my appetite for exploring long musical forms and developing a coherent story.
Performing under an enigmatic pseudonym was an element on the way to building my solo work and pushing this identity into new areas.
Su Tianci was a 20th century Chinese painter who created romantic landscapes. A few years ago, a friend of mine found a photo during Su Tianci's exhibition in London. The photo showed Su Tianci in his twenties. If put side by side, we would look like twins.
My music, described by many as pictorial or cinematic, in my mind relates to painting, so I decided to take on a pseudonym ( Su Tianchi ) referring to the painter.

Music was recorded during the concert within an International Dr(((o)))ne Day in Kolonia Artystów in Gdańsk.
